8/8/01 - Hersheypark Announces New 2002 Attraction

Coming to HERSHEYPARK in Spring, 2002 - the biggest, wettest most splash-tacular attraction in the Northeast!
If you like roller coasters and water rides - we have the ride for you. On the ground as a spectator, or in the air as a rider -
YOU WILL GET WET! with one blast from a water cannon- The Hershey's Product Characters are engaged in a thrilling watter battle and you are in the middle. The four passenger suspended, swinging cars travel on 1,300 feet of tubular steel and hold 16 gallons of water to be dropped on the unsuspecting guests waiting in line. But, spectators on the ground and cut outs of Hershey's Product Characters can retaliate - with massive water cannons, which can be directed up toward the riders. And, added to this interactive water battle are water fountains, water geysers, and water curtains - all ready to explode!
