Hersheypark 2008 Coaster Announced!!!

Fahrenheit: 97° and Falling Fast!
Hersheypark has announced their 2008 coaster, Fahrenheit.  At 121ft tall, Fahrenheit is the first coaster in the US to feature a vertical lift and a 97° first drop.  Supplied by Intaride, LLC, Farenheit is Hersheypark's 11th Roller Coaster.  Other features include: 107ft vertical loop, inverted corkscrew roll, Cobra element, airborne inverted S-roll, 58 MPH top speed and 2,700 feet of track.  3 Trains of 12 passengers each will give the ride an 850 person/hour capacity.  Total ride time of 85 seconds.

Girl Dies After Collapsing at SF Great America

A 10 year old girl collapsed and died at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Il on Wednesday.  The child had a history of heart problems.  Read More...
